Texas Tech 72, Arkansas-Pine Bluff 51: Freshman Justin Gray had 13 points as the Red Raiders improved to 9-0 at home.

Devaugntah Williams added 11 points and five rebounds for Texas Tech (9-1), which has won eight straight. Norense Odiase had seven points and seven rebounds while Keenan Evans had nine points off the bench.

Ghiavonni Robinson hit 4-of-6 3-pointers and led Arkansas-Pine Bluff (2-9) with 17 points and seven rebounds. Marcel Mosely went 3-of-14 from the floor and added 14 points as the Golden Lions were outrebounded 37-25 and lost 16 turnovers.

The Red Raiders used a 9-2 run - capped by Toddrick Gotcher's 3-pointer and fast-break layup - to build a 24-14 lead with just over eight minutes left in the first half. Robinson hit three of the Golden Lions' next four baskets - including a dunk for their last bucket of the half with 3:18 left - to cut the lead to five but Evans hit a 3-pointer late to give Texas Tech a 35-26 halftime lead.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff had one field goal during the first 12-plus minutes of the second half as the Red Raiders went on an 18-7 run to take control. Justin Jamison's jumper and Gray's three-point play pushed the lead to 66-45 with less than four minutes remaining.
