The Milwaukee Bucks put together a 21-0 run in the fourth quarter as they defeated the visiting Indiana Pacers for the third time this season, prevailing 114-99 on Wednesday night.
After Indiana took a 92-91 lead with just about 10 minutes remaining, the Bucks held the Pacers scoreless for nearly eight minutes to compile a rally that would hand them their ninth straight home win.
With Giannis Antetokounmpo and Donte DiVincenzo in health and safety protocols and Khris Middleton sidelined due to a hyperextended knee, Jrue Holiday took control of the Milwaukee offense and tallied 26 points on 12-for-18 shooting and added a season-high 14 assists.
Bobby Portis contributed 20 points and nine rebounds, and Pat Connaughton had 20 points thanks in part to a 4-for-5 performance from beyond the arc. Jordan Nwora also chipped in 15 points and six rebounds in his first start of the season.
Domantas Sabonis led the Pacers with 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting and had 14 rebounds and five assists to record his eighth consecutive double-double. Along with New Orleans' Jonas Valanciunas, he now leads the league with 23 double-doubles on the season.
Caris LeVert notched 16 points, Myles Turner had 13 and Malcolm Brogdon collected 12 to go along with five rebounds and five assists against his former team. All five starters scored in double figures.
The Bucks found their offense from outside, shooting 48.3 percent (14 of 29) from distance.
Following a closely contested first half, the Bucks snuck into the break with a 58-53 lead. Holiday had 16 points on 7-for-11 (63.6 percent) shooting, and the Bucks hit nine of 15 shots from deep to claim the early advantage. The Pacers struggled from 3-point range, going just 4-for-19 (21.1 percent), but racked up 36 points in the paint.
LeVert exploded in the first quarter, scoring 14 of Indiana's first 20 points while making his first five shot attempts. Both teams were on fire offensively in the frame and both shot over 56 percent from the field to combine for 66 points.
