Al Jefferson scored 16 of his 20 points in the second half and added 12 rebounds for the Hornets, who forced 25 turnovers to help snap a six-game road slide and improve to 2-10 on the road. Gerald Henderson added 11 points and Gary Neal 10 off the bench as Charlotte shot 7-of-12 from the arc in the first half to take a 20-point advantage en route to snapping a four-game overall losing streak.

Rookie Robert Covington and Tony Wroten scored 19 points apiece for the 76ers, who are 0-14 at Wells Fargo Center this season and are five losses shy from matching the NBA record set by Dallas back in 1993-94. Michael Carter-Williams had 14 points and 10 assists as the Sixers now must hit the road for seven games before returning against Cleveland on Jan. 5.

Marvin Williams drained three 3-pointers and Neal added another in the final 2:52 of the first as Charlotte closed on a 14-7 run for an 11-point lead. Wroten, Luc Richard Mbah a Moute and Covington drained shots from the arc to close a 17-point, second-quarter deficit to 12, but Henderson answered with a 3-pointer and the Sixers scored one point in the final 5 1/2 minutes as Charlotte took a 66-46 edge into the locker room.

Charlotte led by as many as 24 in the third quarter, but Philadelphia got six points from JaKarr Sampson during a 10-0 run to close the period that brought the 76ers within 13. Charlotte's Brian Roberts opened the fourth with a pair of free throws, Jefferson hit a short jumper and Neal drained a shot from the arc as the Hornets rebuilt a 92-74 lead less than two minutes in and were never threatened again.
