Trail Blazers 112, Celtics 104: LaMarcus Aldridge led the way with 21 points and 13 rebounds as Portland handed visiting Boston its eight straight setback.

Wesley Matthews scored 18 points while Nicolas Batum collected 16 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for the Trail Blazers, who have won back-to-back home games after dropping three of four in their own building. Damian Lillard contributed 15 points and six assists and Robin Lopez gathered 15 points and 13 boards for Portland.

Avery Bradley scored 25 points and Jared Sullinger recorded 14 points and 10 rebounds off the bench as the Celtics finished up an 0-5 road trip. Jeff Green scored 16 points and Jordan Crawford added 13 for Boston, which has dropped 11 of 12.

The Celtics led by as much as 10 points in the first half before settling for a 60-58 lead at the break. Matthews scored seven points in a 13-0 run through the middle of the third quarter that put the Blazers on top 77-68, and they took a 90-86 lead into the fourth.

Batum’s 3-pointer with 6:20 left stretched the lead to 104-91 before Boston made one last push, closing to within 110-104 on Green’s free throws with 56 seconds left. The Celtics missed a chance to draw closer and Matthews hit two free throws to close it out.
