Clippers 112, Bobcats 85: Blake Griffin had 31 points and 12 rebounds and Jared Dudley made a season-high six 3-pointers while scoring 20 points as host Los Angeles defeated Charlotte for the sixth straight time.

Chris Paul contributed 17 points and 14 assists as the Clippers rebounded from Monday’s horrid 19-point loss to the Phoenix Suns. DeAndre Jordan grabbed 12 rebounds for his 11th consecutive double-digit outing on the boards.

Al Jefferson had 14 points and 12 rebounds and Kemba Walker scored 14 points for the Bobcats, who lost for the fifth time in six games. Gerald Henderson added 12 points for Charlotte, which committed 17 turnovers.

The contest was tied at 56 at halftime before Dudley started the second half with five straight points and scored 11 over the first five-plus minutes to give the Clippers a 73-62 lead. Los Angeles took a 12-point lead into the final quarter and Dudley knocked down another 3-pointer 13 seconds into the stanza.

The Bobcats were within 11 before Griffin went on a personal 8-0 run to give Los Angeles a 97-78 advantage. After Charlotte moved back within 14, Griffin tallied five consecutive points and the Clippers pulled away.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Charlotte was just 9-of-37 from the field in the second half after shooting 51.3 percent over the first 24 minutes. … The 20-point outing was the third of the season for Dudley, who was 6-of-9 from behind the arc and 7-of-10 overall. … Walker has scored in double digits in 22 straight games.
