Lakers 102, Warriors 95: Pau Gasol collected 24 points and 10 rebounds and Nick Young poured in 21 points off the bench as host Los Angeles topped shorthanded Golden State.

Jordan Farmar recorded 14 points and eight assists for the reserves as the Lakers got 44 points off the bench. Steve Blake chipped in 14 points from a starting spot for Los Angeles, which has posted back-to-back wins for the first time this season.

David Lee had 21 points and 13 rebounds and Klay Thompson scored 19 for the Warriors, who were playing their second straight game without Stephen Curry due to a mild concussion and lost Andre Iguodala in the third quarter. Harrison Barnes scored 20 points out of Curry’s starting spot and Andrew Bogut added 12 and 13 boards for Golden State.

The Warriors hung around in the first half until the Lakers started to spread it out with a 13-5 run closing the second quarter. Young completed a three-point play off a feed from Blake, who followed with a steal and a 3-pointer to give Los Angeles a 55-46 lead at the break.

Golden State climbed back into the game in the third quarter and knotted it at 63 on Iguodala’s 3-pointer with 4:22 left in the frame. Iguodala had a pass stolen from him a minute later and pulled up while trying to chase down Xavier Henry and get the ball back.

Iguodala ended up leaving with a strained left hamstring and the Warriors did not score again in the quarter. The Lakers took a 75-63 lead into the final period as Young highlighted the surge with a pair of 3-pointers.

The lead swelled to 83-67 on Young’s three-point play with 8:53 to play before Golden State made a run, cutting it to a 10-point deficit with 4:41 remaining. Jodie Meeks knocked down a 3-pointer to stop the bleeding and Los Angeles was able to close it out.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Warriors crushed the Lakers 125-94 at home on Oct. 30 behind 38 points from Thompson but are 3-36 in their last 39 games at Los Angeles. … Bogut has recorded a double-double in three of the last four games. … The Lakers went 11-for-24 from 3-point range to help make up for a 50-36 deficit on the glass.
