Pacers 91, Heat 77: Paul George led the way with 28 points and eight rebounds as host Indiana took control in the third quarter and forced a Game 7 in the Eastern Conference finals.

Roy Hibbert added 24 points and 11 boards and George Hill scored 16 for the Pacers, who outscored Miami 29-15 in the third and dominated on the inside to knot the series at 3-3. Game 7 will be Monday in Miami.

LeBron James collected 29 points, seven rebounds and six assists but again got little help from his supporting cast. Dwyane Wade (10 points) and Chris Bosh (five) combined for 15 points on 4-of-19 shooting while Ray Allen was limited to six points off the bench.

Miami held a 40-39 lead at the break but managed two points in the first 6 1/2 minutes of the third quarter as Indiana took control. Hibbert’s layup pushed the lead out to as much as 68-51 with 23 seconds left in the third before four free throws from James chopped it to 68-55 heading into the fourth.

Mike Miller gave the Heat a boost with back-to-back 3-pointers in the fourth, and layups on two straight possessions by James drew Miami to within 72-68 with 5:52 left. But George buried a 3-pointer to spark another run and James was called for an offensive foul and then a technical for arguing the call that allowed the Pacers to spread it back out.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Heat shot 36.1 percent from the floor - their worst shooting performance of the season -- while matching their lowest point total of the season. Miami also tallied 77 in a regular-season loss to the Pacers. … Indiana F David West battled through an illness to collect 11 points and 14 rebounds. … The Pacers outrebounded Miami 53-33 and outscored the Heat in the paint 44-22. Miami F Chris Andersen (suspension) sat out the contest.
