Lakers 100, Bobcats 93: Kobe Bryant scored all 20 of his points in the second half and Los Angeles erased a 20-point, third-quarter deficit to win in Charlotte for the first time in five years.
Earl Clark had 17 points and 10 rebounds and Steve Nash scored 17 as the Lakers bounced back from their worst defeat of the season 24 hours earlier to win for the seventh time in ninth games.
Byron Mullens had 20 points and 12 rebounds and Gerald Henderson added 20 and 10 for the Bobcats, who saw their losing streak reach six games after blowing a huge lead against Los Angeles for the second time this season.
Charlotte squandered an 18-point lead in a one-point defeat at Staples Center in December, but appeared intent on avenging that loss when it stretched a 12-point halftime edge to 71-51 with just under 5 1/2 minutes left in the third quarter. A 9-0 burst by the Lakers cut the deficit to nine entering the fourth and set up the comeback.
Bryant hit back-to-back baskets to cut the lead to one midway through the quarter before Jodie Meeks buried a 3-pointer to give Los Angeles the lead for good at 92-91 with 3:02 left. Bryant then scored eight points in the final 2:15 to wrap up the Lakers' first win in Charlotte since February 2008.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Bobcats rookie Michael Kidd-Gilchrist had four points and 10 rebounds in his return to the lineup. He had missed two games with a concussion sustained in a hard fall in last Saturday's game against Houston. ... Bryant failed to score in the opening half for the first time since March 31, 2012. ... Multiple media outlets reported that Charlotte has had preliminary trade discussions with Brooklyn involving a swap that would send G Ben Gordon to the Nets in exchange for F Kris Humphries.
