Bulls 118, Cavaliers 92: Carlos Boozer recorded his fifth straight double-double with 24 points and 11 rebounds as host Chicago continued its dominance over Cleveland.
Luol Deng scored 19 points, Joakim Noah added 11 and 11 rebounds and Taj Gibson led three reserves in double figures with 18 points for the Bulls, who have won 10 straight against the Cavaliers by an average of 19.5 points.
Rookie Dion Waiters scored 18 points off the bench while Kyrie Irving and C.J. Miles added 15 apiece for Cleveland.
The Cavaliers grabbed the early lead and held a 30-22 advantage at the end of the first quarter when Chicago began to turn it around. The Bulls led 53-50 at the half and really opened things up in the third quarter, outscoring Cleveland 35-22 in the period.
Boozer was one of the few starters to hang around for the fourth and tacked another six points onto his total in the final five minutes as Chicago posted its third straight 30-point quarter.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Cavaliers F Anderson Varejao (knee) missed his 10th straight game but is expected to return to practice on Tuesday. … Boozer’s hot streak comes on the heels of a three-game stretch last month during which he failed to reach double figures in either points or rebounds in any of the contests. … Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf was nominated for the Basketball Hall of Fame on Monday.
