Trail Blazers 118, Cavaliers 117 (2OT): Nicolas Batum drilled a 3-pointer with 0.2 seconds remaining as Portland posted its first win in the fifth contest of its season-high seven-game, 11-day road trip.
Damian Lillard finished with 24 points - including a 10-point surge in just over a two-minute stretch of the third quarter - and 11 assists. Batum had 22 points and LaMarcus Aldridge added 21 and nine rebounds for the Trail Blazers, who defeated the Cavaliers for the fourth consecutive time.
Alonzo Gee had a team-high 22 points and Anderson Varejao had 19 and 17 rebounds for his eighth straight double-double. Eight players scored in double figures for the Cavaliers, who have dropped five of their last six.
Cleveland claimed a 116-115 lead after Tyler Zeller drilled a long-range jumper with 52 seconds to play in double overtime. The rookie had eight of his 14 points in the five-minute extra session.
Batum was forced to foul Gee in the late stages, but the latter only made one of two free throws to give Cleveland a two-point edge. Batum then sank a corner 3-pointer in front of the Cavaliers' bench to win the game.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Aldridge picked up his fourth personal foul with 8:37 remaining in the third quarter but managed to remain the game before securing his fifth with 1:49 left in double overtime. ... Portland's J.J. Hickson was the recipient of a fair portion of boos from the home crowd while shooting free throws. Hickson began his career in Cleveland. ... The Trail Blazers' bench players, who shot 9-for-14 from the field in the first half, combined to score 29 points.
