HEAT 101, NETS 98: LeBron James scored visiting Miami's final 17 points and finished with 37 as the Heat extended their winning streak over New Jersey to 10 games.
James had a personal 11-0 run in a span of 2:08 as Miami erased a 96-90 deficit en route to its third straight victory.
Chris Bosh added 22 points and 15 rebounds for the Heat, who also won their sixth consecutive game at New Jersey despite playing without star guard Dwyane Wade.
Kris Humphries scored 29 points and rookie MarShon Brooks added 24 for the Nets, who were without All-Star point guard Deron Williams.
Gerald Green scored all 15 of his points in the second half for New Jersey, which never trailed until the final minute.
Brooks and Green combined to score all the points in a 9-2 run as the Nets pulled away from an 84-84 tie to take a 93-86 lead with 3:30 to play.
James quickly went to work, converting a three-point play to slice the deficit to 96-93 and scoring on a drive to give Miami its first lead at 97-96 with 51 seconds remaining.
GAME NOTEBOOK: The Heat improved to 6-8 on the road since March 1. Williams sat out after hurting a calf in Sunday's loss to Boston. He missed four games earlier this season with the same injury. Backup point guard Jordan Farmar also sat out, giving Sundiata Gaines the start. Forward Gerald Wallace also remained out for New Jersey. ... Wade missed the game for what Heat coach Erik Spoelstra termed as part of a maintenance program to keep his nagging right ankle injury healthy. Heat forward Shane Battier and center Ronny Turiaf also were sidelined with injuries.
