76ERS 103, CELTICS 71: Evan Turner had a career-high 26 points with nine rebounds as host Philadelphia resoundingly ended Boston's five-game winning streak in a matchup of Atlantic Division leaders.

Philadelphia handed the Celtics their worst loss of the season and held them to a season-low tying 71 points to grab a two-game division lead.

Elton Brand scored 18 points on 8 of 10 shooting and added nine rebounds for the 76ers. Andre Iguodala had 10 points, eight assists and seven rebounds and Nikola Vucevic added 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Paul Pierce led Boston with 16 points, while Brandon Bass had 12. Ray Allen was 0 for 5 for two points and Rajon Rondo scored just five as the Celtics shot 35 percent (28 of 80) and missed all eight of their 3-pointers.

The 76ers were 16 of 26 from the field in the first quarter, racing to a 33-17 lead. And it only got worse for the Celtics.

Turner nearly had a double-double by halftime with 16 points and eight rebounds. Boston shot just 34.1 percent in the first half and were outrebounded 31-15 in that time.

Jrue Holiday's 3-pointer from the right wing gave Philadelphia a 47-21 lead with 4:27 remaining in the half. The 76ers led by as much as 53-25 before the Celtics closed the half with an 8-2 run.

Led by Turner's 10 points, the Sixers increased the lead to 80-53 after three quarters.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Center Jermaine O’Neal (sprained left wrist) sat out for Boston . ... The 76ers were without forward Thaddeus Young (upper respiratory tract infection). ...
