Monta Ellis scored 12 of his 29 points in the fourth quarter and Stephen Curry added 21 as the Golden State Warriors came from behind to claim a 110-103 road victory over the New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday.
Dorell Wright and David Lee added 13 points apiece and Louis Amundson grabbed 12 rebounds for the Warriors, who completed a 2-3 road trip.
The Hornets held a 58-47 lead at halftime and were still up by 10 points when the fourth quarter began. But Ellis scored eight straight points to begin the final frame and the Warriors began to take control.
Wright’s 3-pointer with 6:48 left gave the Warriors their first lead at 90-89 and they kept pushing forward. Curry’s 3-pointer with 4:13 to go made it 99-89 and capped a 27-7 run.
The Hornets came back within 101-99 with under two minutes left, but Ellis and Lee each hit a pair of free throws.
Chris Paul had 24 points and 13 assists for the Hornets, who had their three-game winning streak snapped.
