Kyle Lowry and Kevin Martin scored 28 points apiece and the Houston Rockets shot 69.6 percent from 3-point range while posting a 127-111 victory over the host Memphis Grizzlies on Friday.
Brad Miller added 23 points on 7-for-7 shooting as Houston (7-12) recorded its second-highest scoring output of the season. The Rockets made 16-of-23 3-point attempts, with Martin going 5-for-6 and Lowry 4-for-5. The 7-foot Miller made all three of his 3-point attempts while tying his season-high for points.
Lowry had a season-best point total and tied his top assist performance of the campaign as Houston shot 59.5 percent from the field. Lowry made 11-of-15 field-goal attempts.
Rudy Gay scored 29 points for Memphis (8-12), while Marc Gasol had 20 points and Mike Conley added 19 points and eight assists. Gay made 9-of-13 shots and Gasol was 7-of-9 for Memphis, which shot 51.9 percent.
Courtney Lee added 16 points and Luis Scola scored 15 for Houston.
