LeBron James scored 36 points and Chris Bosh had 23 as the Miami Heat won their eighth consecutive road game with a 95-83 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night at US Airways Center.
James and Bosh carried the game for the Heat (22-9), accounting for 62 percent of the scoring. Bosh also had 11 rebounds while Carlos Arroyo added 11 points.
Jared Dudley led Phoenix (13-15) with 33 points and 12 rebounds. Steve Nash was shut down scoring-wise (four points) but had 18 assists.
Heat guard Dwyane Wade sat out with a sore left knee as did Phoenix guard Vince Carter, acquired in a trade with Orlando on Sunday. Carter has yet to play for his new team.
Wade was injured in Monday’s loss to Dallas when he banged knees with Dallas' Jason Kidd. Wade's status for Saturday's Christmas showdown with the Los Angeles Lakers is uncertain.
Also part of the Carter trade, Marcin Gortat (four points, three rebounds) and Mickael Pietrus (two points) made their debuts with Phoenix.
