Zach Randolph scored 12 of his 19 points in the pivotal second quarter as the host Memphis Grizzlies routed the Charlotte Bobcats, 113-80, on Wednesday night for their fourth straight victory.
Rudy Gay had 23 points, six rebounds and five assists while O.J. Mayo scored 24 on 10-for-15 shooting off the bench for the Grizzlies (12-14), who snapped a four-game losing streak to the Bobcats.
The Grizzlies opened the second quarter with a 15-2 run to increase their lead to 39-22. They outscored the Bobcats, 35-16, in the quarter to take a 59-36 lead at halftime.
Randolph also had nine rebounds and is averaging 24 points and 14.8 rebounds during the winning streak.
Gay scored nine points in the third quarter, when Memphis stretched its lead to 84-55.
Marc Gasol had 10 rebounds and Mike Conley had nine assists for Memphis, which shot 52.4 percent from the field.
Stephen Jackson scored 16 points and D.J. Augustin had 10 points, seven assists and five rebounds for the Bobcats (9-16), who fell to 1-7 in the second of back-to-back games.
