Rodney Stuckey scored 18 points and Richard Hamilton finished with 15 points and nine assists as the Detroit Pistons buried the slumping Milwaukee Bucks, 103-89, on Friday.
Tayshaun Prince added 14 points and Charlie Villanueva scored 15 off the bench for the Pistons, who had dropped two straight and four of five entering Friday’s matchup.
But their recent poor play was long forgotten by the first quarter against the Bucks, as Detroit opened up the game on a 10-2 run and were up 29-18 by the time the first 12 minutes had passed. Prince had 10 points in the quarter and Hamilton added seven.
Milwaukee could not make up any ground in the second or third, and the Pistons would not relent in the fourth, opening the final frame with a 14-4 burst to end any doubts.
Brandon Jenning scored 25 points for the Bucks, who shot just 37 percent in absorbing their fifth consecutive loss.
