John Salmons broke out of a slump with 17 points and the Milwaukee Bucks snapped a four-game losing streak with a 92-74 victory over the visiting Toronto Raptors on Tuesday night.
Salmons and Carlos Delfino scored five points apiece in a 14-0 fourth-quarter run as the Bucks pulled away and handed the Raptors their 14th loss in 15 games.
Corey Maggette had 16 points and nine rebounds and Andrew Bogut added 14 points for the Bucks, who held the Raptors to 0-for-10 shooting from the 3-point line. On Jan. 25, Toronto had its record streak of 986 games with a 3-pointer ended by Memphis.
Salmons, who had scored a combined 10 points in three games since returning from an eight-game absence with an injured hip, triggered the decisive spurt with a 3-pointer after Toronto had pulled within 68-62 on Andrea Bargnani's hook shot with 10:45 to play.
Bargnani scored 23 points and DeMar DeRozan added 18 for Toronto, which was seeking its second straight win after snapping a 13-game losing streak.
