The Atlanta Hawks scored the final 11 points of the game to rally past the Philadelphia 76ers 93-88 Friday night.
The Hawks trailed the entire game until Al Horford completed a three-point play with 31 seconds to play. The Hawks then made 4 of 6 free throws to close things out.
Philadelphia missed its final 11 shots from the floor and scored just one point in the final 5:26 of the game.
Marvin Williams led Atlanta (13-7) with 22 points while Horford and Jamal Crawford both had 15.
Philadelphia held a 54-46 leadat the half and a pair of Andre Iguodala free throws gave the Sixers their largest lead, 67-50, midway through the third quarter. The Hawks cut the deficit to three points late in the quarter on the heels of a 19-5 run.
Atlanta played its second game without leading scorer Joe Johnson, who is expected to miss up to six weeks after undergoing elbow surgery. Maurice Evans started in place of Johnson and scored five points.
Elton Brand led the Sixers with 16 points and 14 rebounds. Philadelphia (5-14) has lost eight straight on the road.
Jodie Meeks made his first NBA start in place of the slumping Evan Turner for the Sixers and scored nine while Turner had 11 off the bench.
