Paul Pierce scored 21 points and Ray Allen added 17 as the Boston Celtics overcame a 10-point third-quarter deficit to defeat the host Indiana Pacers, 95-83, on Tuesday.
Glen “Big Baby” Davis added 14 points as Boston (24-5) won for the 15th time in 16 games. Pierce was 3-for-3 from 3-point range and also had a team-best seven assists.
Brandon Rush had 17 points and seven rebounds for Indiana (13-16).
Indiana led, 60-50, midway through the third quarter before Boston erupted for a 27-7 run over a nine-minute span to take a 77-67 lead.
Pacers forward Danny Granger scored 15 points but made just 5-of-21 shots, missing all six 3-pointers.
Former Pacer Marquis Daniels scored 12 points and Kevin Garnett had 11 and 12 rebounds for Boston, which shot 51 percent from the field and held Indiana to 37 percent.
Boston played without point guard Rajon Rondo, who missed his fifth consecutive game with an ankle injury.
