Cardinals 7, Brewers 3: Yadier Molina went 4-for-4 and slammed a tie-breaking two-run homer in the sixth inning to lift host St. Louis to its third straight win.
Kyle Lohse (4-0) joined teammate Lance Lynn as the National League's only four-game winners, allowing three runs on five hits in six innings. He struck out five and walked a season-high four.
David Freese also homered to extend his hitting streak to six games as the Cardinals handed the Brewers their third straight loss.
Skip Schumaker added a two-run double and Jon Jay had his second straight three-hit game since returning from a shoulder injury to help St. Louis beat Milwaukee for the fourth time in five meetings.
Aramis Ramirez and Alex Gonzalez homered for the Brewers, who dropped their sixth consecutive game on the road.
Milwaukee starter Marco Estrada (0-1), making his second start, was charged with five runs - four earned - and seven hits in six innings.
Lohse was not as sharp as he has been, giving up as many runs and walking twice as many batters as he had in his first four starts. He issued a bases-load walk to George Kottaras in the sixth to tie it at 3-3 before Molina untied it in the bottom of the game.
