Brewers 6, Astros 5: Zack Greinke continued his mastery at Miller Park and Ryan Braun singled, doubled and homered as Milwaukee held off visiting Houston.
Greinke (2-1) improved his record to 13-0 at Miller Park in just over one season with Milwaukee; the Brewers are 18-0 in his regular-season home starts. Greinke allowed two runs over six innings and struck out a season-high nine.
Braun had an RBI single in the first inning and hit a solo shot in the fifth off Astros starter Lucas Harrell (1-1). Braun knocked in two runs for the second time in three games.
After Carlos Lee singled for his third hit to open the ninth, John Axford struck out the next three batters for his third save and 46th straight -- dating back to last season.
Jed Lowrie belted his first homer in the top of the first to give Houston a 1-0 lead. But the Brewers responded with three runs in the bottom of the frame to take the lead for good, highlighted by an Aramis Ramirez RBI triple.
Brian Bogusevic had three RBIs, including a two-run triple off reliever Jose Veras in the seventh inning for Houston. Chris Johnson followed with an RBI single to bring the Astros within 6-5.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Greinke was 1-0 and the Brewers 2-0 in his two playoff starts at Miller Park last season. … Houston is 13-42 in its last 55 games on the road. … Milwaukee catcher Jonathan Lucroy had his fourth two-hit game this season.
