Mason McTavish scored at 2:08 of overtime as the Anaheim Ducks scored the final three goals to post a come-from-behind, 4-3 win over the host Boston Bruins on Thursday night.
Boston's 3-1 lead with two minutes left in regulation was erased when Leo Carlsson and Troy Terry -- who each finished with a goal and an assist -- scored back-to-back goals. McTavish fired home the winner from the left circle after taking a cross-ice feed from Carlsson.
Radko Gudas also scored, Ryan Strome added two assists, and John Gibson made 27 saves for Anaheim, which has back-to-back wins following a three-game skid.
David Pastrnak scored a goal and added an assist while Charlie McAvoy dished out three helpers to lead Boston, which was 6-0-0 entering the night. Charlie Coyle and Matt Grzelcyk scored the Bruins' first two goals.
The Ducks finally answered the hosts' three-goal second period with 1:55 left in regulation. After Boston failed to clear the puck several times, Carlsson potted a loose puck just after the end of a 6-on-4 power play with the goaltender pulled.
Terry scored the tying goal with 14.7 seconds left in regulation, taking a shot from low on the left wing that Boston's Brad Marchand deflected in front.
The Ducks had a 32-30 shot advantage, including a 14-11 count in the third period and 2-0 in overtime.
Anaheim held the territorial advantage for much of the opening frame and was rewarded when Gudas' shot from the right point deflected in off defender Hampus Lindholm with five minutes remaining.
Gudas' goal was upheld after Boston's unsuccessful challenge for goaltender interference.
Coyle's man-up tally brought the hosts even at 1:40 of the second. David Pastrnak fanned on a one-timer from the left circle, but the puck carom landed right on Coyle's stick in the slot for an easy finish into an open net.
The Bruins took their first lead only 1:20 later. Poitras worked down the left wall and fed the puck on top to McAvoy, who fed Grzelcyk in the right circle for a one-timer that broke a 22-game scoring drought dating back to last season.
Pastrnak extended Boston's lead to 3-1 at the 16:40 mark. After taking Pavel Zacha's feed off the rush, he cut to the net to track down his own rebound and score the insurance tally.
