Canucks 4, Flyers 0: Ryan Miller returned from a two-game absence due to the flu to record his 33rd career shutout and captain Henrik Sedin collected a power-play goal and an assist as visiting Vancouver snapped its three-game losing streak.

Radim Vrbata also tallied with the man advantage for the Canucks, who doubled their combined scoring output from the previous three contests and improved to 1-1-0 on their five-game road trip. Nick Bonino and Jannik Hansen also tallied and Daniel Sedin notched a pair of assists in the rout.

Miller finished with 30 saves to secure his fourth shutout of the season while struggling Philadelphia was blanked for the second time in as many nights. Ray Emery yielded three goals on 12 shots before being relieved early in the second by Rob Zepp (nine saves) for the Flyers, who fell for the eighth time in 11 contests (3-7-1).

Bonino breezed into the offensive zone and spun around Philadelphia defenseman Michael Del Zotto before beating Emery to the glove side from the left faceoff circle 6:35 into the contest. Henrik Sedin doubled the advantage less than seven minutes later by tipping in a shot by his twin brother to extend his point streak in the series to 10 games.

Vrbata scored on a wrist shot from the left circle 1:21 into the second period to chase Emery and Hansen provided a rude greeting for Zepp by converting on a breakaway 22 seconds later to give Vancouver a 4-0 lead. Miller robbed defenseman Luke Schenn from the doorstep later in the session and Philadelphia failed on all four of its power plays en route to the shutout.
