Freshman Ziaire Williams recorded the first triple-double of his college career Thursday night, helping Stanford run away from visiting Washington 91-75 in Pac-12 action at Santa Cruz, Calif.
Williams finished with 12 points and season-bests in rebounds with 12 and assists with 10. Teammate Oscar da Silva logged a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds for Stanford (7-3, 3-1), which led 38-21 at halftime and coasted home.
Marcus Tsohonis had a career-high 24 points to pace Washington (1-8, 0-4), which lost its fifth straight.
Williams, whose previous season-high for assists had been four against Arizona, assisted on five of Stanford's first seven hoops as the Cardinal opened the game on a 17-5 run.
He didn't score his first basket until there was 3:53 left in the half, when his follow shot extended the Stanford advantage to 29-13.
Williams recorded his ninth assist with 8:10 left to play, then didn't complete his triple-double until he found Jaiden Delaire for a dunk with 1:40 to play.
Delaire finished with a team-high 21 points, making 9 of 14 shots.
Da Silva's double-double was his second straight. He had 31 points and 10 rebounds Monday in a win at Oregon State.
Spencer Jones totaled 18 points and Michael O'Connell added 11 for the Cardinal, which won for the sixth time in its last seven games.
All five Stanford starters scored in double figures in the team's highest scoring game of the season.
Tsohonis, who had totaled just 20 points in his first six games, topped his previous career-best of 19 set last season against Arizona State.
Quade Green backed Tsohonis with 15 points, a team-high five assists and a game-high four steals, while Jamal Bey added 15 points.
Stanford outshot Washington 51.5 percent to 35.7.
