The margin grew to 35-16 slightly more than 10 minutes into the game.
Parham scored seven of VMI's first 21 points, but the Keydets trailed 40-21 at the time. Wofford was shooting 61.5 percent from the field at that juncture.
VMI closed to within 48-37 at halftime despite its 3-for-12 shooting from 3-point range. Parham drained a 3-pointer for the first points of the second half.
Less than four minutes later, Wofford had built its lead to 63-44.
All five Wofford starters, plus Goodwin, reached double-digit point marks with more than nine minutes remaining.
