Minnesota 87, North Florida 59: Rodney Williams Jr. scored a team-high 14 points as the host Gophers erased an early lead to breeze past the Ospreys.
Austin Hollins had 12 points and four of a season-best 13 blocks for Minnesota (8-1), which missed its first 12 3-point attempts. Maverick Ahanmisi connected from beyond the arc with 1:43 remaining in the second half.
Parker Smith had a game-high 22 points and Travis Wallace went 7-for-10 from the floor to finish with 17 points for North Florida (3-5).
After Wallace scored 10 quick points to give the Ospreys a 20-13 lead, Trevor Mbakwe netted nine of his 11 first-half points during a 22-7 run to give Minnesota a lead it would not relinquish.
Joe Coleman added 11 points for the Golden Gophers, who have won four in a row.
