Freshman Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored a season-high 21 points, including four 3-pointers, and visiting Georgia snapped a four-game losing streak with a 63-59 victory over Southern Cal on Saturday.
Southern Cal (4-7) led by eight points with 10:06 to play before Georgia (5-5) rallied and grabbed a four-point lead with 39 seconds left on Caldwell-Pope's 3-pointer.
Alexis Moore scored 18 points and Maurice Jones added 11 for Southern Cal, which lost its third straight game.
After scoring 16 and 15 points in the first half of their previous two games, the Trojans entered halftime against Georgia tied at 25.
Gerald Robinson scored 17 points for Georgia, which was playing its first game in the Pacific time zone since 2005. The Bulldogs shot 22-of-43 (51.2 percent) from the field.
Vincent Williams started at point guard for Georgia in place of the slumping Dustin Ware, ending Ware's streak of 87 consecutive starts. Ware responded with 12 points, including four 3-pointers.
Eight of Southern Cal's 11 games have been decided by seven points or fewer. The Trojans have lost four home games by a combined 16 points.
