The Quakers (5-6) held on in the first half as Tyler Bernardini went 5 for 6 from the field, including 3 of 4 from 3-point range, for 16 points before the break. Bernardini’s 3-pointer with 6:09 left in the half put Pennsylvania up 29-17, but Kentucky recovered to close the half on a 16-3 run and take a one-point edge into the locker room.
The second half was a different story as the Wildcats used a 24-6 burst to turn a close game into a 21-point lead midway through the period. Knight drained three 3-pointers during the spurt and Lamb scored eight points.
