Tigers 6, Indians 5 (14): Prince Fielder hit a two-run double in the 14th inning as visiting Detroit won its 11th consecutive game.

Austin Jackson led off the 14th with a double to left field and advanced on Torii Hunter's deep fly ball to right. Bryan Shaw (2-3) walked Hernan Perez before giving way to Marc Rzepczynski, who grooved an 0-2 pitch that Fielder lined into the left-center field gap as Detroit extended its longest run since September 2011.

The outburst made a winner out of Jeremy Bonderman (2-3), who tossed three relief innings in his first appearance in a Detroit uniform since 2010. Joaquin Benoit overcame Michael Bourn's RBI double to secure his 14th save for the Tigers, who own a six-game lead over Cleveland atop the American League Central.

After Detroit's Miguel Cabrera hit a go-ahead two-run homer in the eighth inning - his 33rd of the season - Cleveland rallied to tie in the bottom half and force extra innings. Michael Brantley led off with a double, advanced to third on Carlos Santana's double and scored on Yan Gomes' groundout.

Gomes' solo homer in the third inning helped Cleveland take a 2-1 lead, but Jackson's solo blast to left evened things in the sixth. The Indians jumped back in front on doubles by Mike Aviles and Nick Swisher two batters apart in the seventh.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Detroit starter Doug Fister surrendered two runs on seven hits over six innings, walking a pair and striking out eight. Cleveland counterpart Danny Salazar allowed four runs over 7 2/3 innings, fanning 10 in his second major-league start. ... Bonderman returned to the majors with Seattle following a two-year absence, but was released by the Mariners last month and promptly signed with the Tigers. The 30-year-old spent his first eight seasons in Detroit, going 67-77 with a 4.89 ERA in 207 appearances (193 starts). ... Cabrera struck out three times for just the third time all season. The reigning AL Triple Crown winner had one three-strikeout game last season and none in 2011.
