Giants 5, Rangers 2: Ryan Vogelsong allowed one run in 7 2/3 innings to win his fifth straight decision as host San Francisco beat Texas.
Nate Schierholtz doubled, tripled and drove in a run and Ryan Theriot had a pair of RBIs as the Giants bounced back from their first shutout loss of the season with their ninth win in 12 games.
Vogelsong (5-2) blanked the Rangers on two hits through seven innings until Mitch Moreland broke up his shutout bid with a leadoff homer in the eighth. Vogelsong allowed three hits in his season-long outing.
Mike Napoli added a solo blast in the ninth for Texas, which dipped to 3-6 in June and fell for the 12th time in 13 meetings at AT&T Park.
Scott Feldman (0-5) lost his fifth consecutive start despite striking out a season-high seven. He gave up three runs - two earned - on four hits in 5 1/3 innings.
Theriot drove in single runs in the third and fifth innings for a 2-0 lead before Schierholtz's RBI triple in the sixth made it 3-0.
Pablo Sandoval, in his first game since suffering a broken bone in his wrist on May 2, had an RBI single in the seventh and scored on Angel Pagan's double.
