Giants 3, Dodgers 0: Tim Lincecum earned his first victory since April 28 and San Francisco moved into a tie for first place in the National League West by completing a sweep of visiting Los Angeles.

The Giants held the Dodgers scoreless for three consecutive games for the first time in San Francisco-era history, outscoring Los Angeles 13-0. The Dodgers have not scored in 30 innings and were blanked in three straight games for the first time since Aug. 5-8, 2007.

Making matters worse for the Dodgers was an injury to right fielder Andre Ethier, who left in the first inning with a strained left oblique. Ethier, ranked among the National League leaders with 55 RBIs, is likely headed for the disabled list.

Lincecum (3-8), who entered the game with a record of 0-6 over his last nine starts, gave up four hits and struck out eight over seven innings.

Sergio Romo recorded the final four outs for his fourth save for the Giants, who have won five of their last six games.

San Francisco took an early lead when Lincecum scored on Melky Cabrera’s double in the third off Chad Billingsley (4-7), who lost his third straight start.

Billingsley followed Cabrera’s double by walking Buster Posey to load the bases. Angel Pagan came next and drew another walk, forcing in Ryan Theriot.

Pagan added an insurance run in the fifth with an RBI single off Billingsley, who fanned seven in six innings.

The Dodgers’ best scoring threat came in the second inning, when Billingsley doubled and advanced to third on a passed ball, only to be tagged out by Lincecum at the plate while attempting to score on a wild pitch.

The Dodgers, who took over the NL West lead on April 11, lost eight times on their nine-game road trip, scoring just 13 runs during that stretch.
