Reds 6, Brewers 1: Jay Bruce hit a three-run homer to cap a five-run fourth inning as visiting Cincinnati downed Milwaukee.
Zack Cozart also homered in the fourth and Bronson Arroyo struck out a season-high nine as Cincinnati won its second straight game.
Ryan Braun homered for the Brewers, who have lost three consecutive games.
Arroyo (2-1) gave up one run, six hits and one walk in 6 2/3 innings while winning for the first time since April 19.
Logan Ondrusek retired four straight batters for his 14th consecutive scoreless appearance of the season and Sean Marshall finished up in a non-save situation.
Cozart led off the fourth with a homer and Drew Stubbs and Joey Votto hit back-to-back doubles for Cincinnati’s second run. Brandon Phillips singled before Bruce hit a three-run blast over the right-center field off Marco Estrada (0-2) for his sixth homer in 10 games.
Miguel Cairo added a run-scoring double in the ninth for Cincinnati.
Estrada gave up five runs and eight hits in seven innings. He gave up six of the hits in the fourth.
