Brewers 16, Twins 4: Jonathan Lucroy belted two homers, including a grand slam, and drove in seven runs as host Milwaukee pummeled Minnesota to snap a four-game losing streak.
Red-hot Ryan Braun had three hits and four RBIs and Corey Hart homered among three hits to help Zack Greinke win his fourth consecutive decision.
Greinke (5-1) was staked to an 8-1 lead after two innings en route to extending his unbeaten streak at Miller Park to 22 consecutive starts. He allowed one run on five hits and struck out six in 6 2/3 innings.
Hart and Lucroy belted solo homers in the first inning to erase a 1-0 deficit before Milwaukee broke it open with a six-run second to halt Minnesota's four-game winning streak.
Braun had a two-run double and Lucroy had a two-run single to chase Twins starter Jason Marquis (2-4), who lost his fourth consecutive start.
In the three-game series, Braun finished 8-for-12 with seven RBIs and extended his hitting streak to nine games. Lucroy, who has hit in seven straight games, capped the Brewers' scoring with his grand slam in the seventh inning for a 16-1 lead.
Marquis was charged with eight runs on eight hits in 1 2/3 innings and saw his ERA balloon to 8.47. Five relievers followed - including Twins catcher Drew Butera, who tossed a scoreless eighth inning with a walk and a strikeout.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Twins C Joe Mauer had four hits and went 7-for-11 in the series to boost his batting average to .293. ... Greinke improved to 15-0 in 22 starts at Miller Park since signing with Milwaukee prior to the 2011 season. He had his 15-inning scoreless streak snapped in the first inning. ... Braun is 11-for-22 with five doubles against Marquis, who had his shortest outing since he was with Washington last year, when he lasted only 1 1/3 innings in a 10-2 loss to Pittsburgh on July 3. ... Milwaukee activated OF Carlos Gomez from the 15-day disabled list. He has been sidelined since May 4 with a hamstring injury.
