Phillies 7, Brewers 6: One night after scoring four runs in the ninth inning for a comeback win, host Philadelphia rallied for six in the eighth to spoil a big outing from Milwaukee starter Zack Greinke and notch another improbable victory.

Carlos Ruiz tied it at 6-6 with a three-run double after the Brewers' bullpen walked the bases loaded with two outs in the eighth, and Hunter Pence followed with a bloop single against Kameron Loe (4-4) to score the go-ahead run. Erik Kratz, who scored the winning run Monday, started the rally with a two-run homer off Manny Parra.

Greinke did all he could to impress scouts from teams looking to add pitching before the trade deadline, tossing seven innings of three-hit ball while striking out five. He retired the last 14 batters he faced and added a couple of impressive defensive plays and his third career homer.

Ryan Braun hit his National League-leading 27th homer, Aramis Ramirez added his 11th and Carlos Gomez homered for the second consecutive night for the Brewers, who have lost 10 of their last 13 road games.

Michael Schwimer (1-1) pitched one scoreless inning for the win and Jonathan Papelbon struck out two in a perfect ninth for his 22nd save.

Phillies starter Cliff Lee matched Greinke for five innings, but the Brewers began pounding him in the sixth. Braun launched a shot into the batter's eye in center for a 2-1 lead in the sixth, and Greinke ripped a shot deep into the left-field seats in the seventh.

Gomez added a solo blast to left in the eighth, and Ramirez followed with a mammoth two-run shot to left-center later in the inning to chase Lee, who exited to a smattering of boos.
