Marlins 3, Giants 2: Anibal Sanchez continued his success against San Francisco with seven solid innings as visiting Miami completed a three-game sweep.

Hanley Ramirez had two RBIs despite going hitless and Jose Reyes added a run-scoring single for the Marlins.

Sanchez (2-0) allowed one run and seven hits and has given up just three earned runs in 31 career innings against San Francisco. He struck out five and walked one.

Edward Mujica worked the ninth for his first save of the season and third of his career.

The Giants were without top hitter Pablo Sandoval, who broke a bone in his left hand during Wednesday’s game. Sandoval is expected to miss four to six weeks.

Ramirez drove in a run in the opening inning on a groundout and then hit into a fielder’s choice with the bases loaded in the second inning to give the Marlins a 2-0 lead.

The Giants cut their deficit in half in the sixth when Gregor Blanco scored as Melky Cabrera grounded into a double play. Reyes singled in a run in the eight to get Miami’s lead back to two.

San Francisco pulled within 3-2 in the eighth on Cabrera’s infield out.

Giants starter Ryan Vogelsong (0-2) gave up two runs (one earned) and eight hits in seven innings.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Omar Infante and Brett Hayes each had three of Miami’s 12 hits … Giants outfielder Angel Pagan went 1-for-4 to extend his major-league best hitting streak to 17 games … Struggling Heath Bell was given the day off and Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen said he will continue to stick with Bell as closer … San Francisco recalled third baseman Conor Gillaspie from Triple-A Fresno to replace Sandoval.
