Braves 5, Cardinals 4: Michael Bourn and Dan Uggla homered as host Atlanta snapped its eight-game losing streak and evened its series with St. Louis.
Bourn led off the game by ripping a Jake Westbrook fastball over the fence in right, and Dan Uggla’s three-run blast to left-center off Westbrook (4-4) made it 4-0 in the third.
Yadier Molina went 4-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs for St. Louis, which leads the National League with 66 homers.
Randall Delgado (3-5) went 5 1/3 innings, allowing three runs on six hits, for his first win in eight starts. Eric O'Flaherty, tossed a perfect eighth, fanning two, and Craig Kimbrel earned his 14th save in 15 tries. Kimbrel also struck out two en route to his first save since May 20.
Westbrook, pitching 60 miles from his Georgia home, lasted five innings. He has given up 18 earned runs over his last four starts.
