Orioles 10, White Sox 4: Chris Davis delivered a go-ahead RBI double and Matt Wieters belted a grand slam in the 10th inning as visiting Baltimore finished a wild comeback to defeat Chicago.
Wieters also homered in the eighth, while Nolan Reimold and Adam Jones struck for solo homers in the ninth to tie the game 4-4 for the Orioles.
Mark Reynolds reached on a three-base error when center fielder Alejandro De Aza dropped his fly ball to lead off the 10th and Davis drilled a pitch by Zach Stewart (0-1) off the left-field wall for a 5-4 lead.
Davis had three hits and Wieters finished with three hits and five RBIs. Reimold also had an RBI single in the 10th inning.
Pedro Strop (1-1) did not allow a hit over the final two innings for the win.
Paul Konerko hit a two-run double in the sixth inning that gave Chicago a 3-1 lead. A.J. Pierzynski was 3-for-3, including a solo homer in the second inning, for the White Sox.
Baltimore starter Jake Arrieta matched his career high by throwing 114 pitches over 6 2/3 innings, allowing four runs – three earned.
