Andres Torres knocked in the go-ahead run with a double in the sixth inning and the San Francisco Giants won their fifth straight game, 4-3 over the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday.
Jonathan Sanchez (3-2) allowed three runs, six hits and struck out seven over six innings for the Giants, who moved into a tie with Colorado for first in the National League West.
Brian Wilson, working his fifth game in the last six days, allowed the first two batters to reach in the ninth before securing his 12th save. Wilson retired Kelly Johnson on a deep fly to left center to end the game.
Arizona grabbed a 3-0 lead after scoring a run in three of the first four innings. Backup catcher Henry Blanco went 2-for-3 including a home run, but struck out in the ninth while attempting to sacrifice bunt.
The Giants scored two runs in the fourth off Armando Galarraga (3-3), who gave up four runs on eight hits over 5 1/3 innings. Aubrey Huff tied the score with a solo home run in the fifth.
Miguel Tejada, who entered the game batting .195, went 3-for-4 with an RBI.
