Gerardo Parra homered and drove in three runs, and Zach Duke tossed seven strong innings as the Arizona Diamondbacks posted a 7-3 victory over the host Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday.
Parra's RBI single capped a four-run first, the seventh consecutive inning in which Arizona scored at least one run. The Diamondbacks crossed the plate in each of the final six innings in Monday's series-opening 8-6 triumph.
Following a scoreless second, Parra belted a two-run homer four batters after Justin Upton led off the third against Randy Wolf (6-6) with his 14th blast. Parra's home run was his fifth of the year and first in 29 games.
Duke (2-3) allowed two runs and five hits en route to his first win since May 28. He had surrendered 20 runs over his previous four starts.
David Hernandez recorded the final out for his fifth save in seven opportunities.
Prince Fielder went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs against Duke, improving his career numbers against the lefthander to .359 (14-for-39) with four homers and 10 RBIs. Corey Hart also went deep for Milwaukee, which has lost seven of eight.
