Prince Fielder homered and scored four runs as the Milwaukee Brewers completed their second three-game sweep of the Houston Astros in the last week with a 7-3 victory at Minute Maid Park on Sunday.
Zack Greinke pitched seven strong innings and Yuniesky Betancourt added three RBIs for the Brewers, who have won four straight and 11 of 12.
Fielder, who hit a three-run homer in the first inning of Saturday’s win, was back at it on Sunday, sending a two-run blast - his 26th - to deep right in the opening frame to give Milwaukee a quick lead. The All-Star slugger finishes the series with six RBIs and seven runs scored.
Greinke (10-4) yielded just one run on four hits while striking out six to earn his third straight win. The righthander has allowed two earned runs or less in each of his last six starts.
Bud Norris (5-8) started for the Astros and was knocked around for a season-high six earned runs in five innings.
Rookie Jose Altuve had two hits and an RBI for Houston.
