Starlin Castro singled home the winning run with one out in the bottom of the 10th inning as the Chicago Cubs earned a 5-4 comeback victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday night.
Tony Campana led off the 10th with a double to left against Tim Dillard (1-1) and moved to third on a sacrifice by Kosuke Fukudome. Castro then lofted the first pitch he saw into right center field.
Jeff Samardzija (5-2) won for the second straight night after he pitched a scoreless 10th.
The Cubs trailed 4-1 before they put up three runs in the eighth against Marco Estrada. Aramis Ramirez tied the game with a two-run homer after Castro had started the rally with an RBI double.
Yovani Gallardo allowed three hits and struck out 10 in seven innings for the Brewers. The Cubs' lone run against Gallardo came on a solo homer by Geovany Soto in the seventh.
Chicago starter Randy Wells gave up three runs on eight hits over six innings. He struck out two and walked three.
Rickie Weeks finished with three hits for Milwaukee, including an RBI double in the eighth.
