Ryan Ludwick and Jesus Guzman each drove in four runs for the Padres, who scored 13 runs in the first two innings and had their highest run total since an 18-6 win over the Mets on May 31, 2010.
The Padres have won the first two games of the series to wrap up their first series win since sweeping three games at Kansas City from June 27-29.

Padres starter Aaron Harang (8-2) allowed three runs over 5 1/3 innings to win his fourth consecutive decision.
Marlins leadoff man Emilio Bonifacio extended his career-best hitting streak to 19 games with a single in the fifth.
San Diego's Jason Bartlett, in his first game back from the paternity leave list, went 3-for-5 with an RBI.
Padres third baseman Chase Headley sat out his fourth consecutive game with a strained right calf.
