Brooks Conrad hit a game-tying home run in a four-run seventh inning and Jason Heyward homered and drove in three runs to lead the Atlanta Braves to a 9-6 win over the Colorado Rockies on Thursday at Coors Field.
Heyward's two-run shot in the third helped the Braves rally from a 4-0 deficit, Conrad's solo homer tied it at 6 and Nate McLouth's RBI triple gave the Braves the lead for good.
Freddie Freeman also homered for the Braves, and Carlos Gonzalez led off the bottom of the first with a homer for the Rockies.
Braves starter Tommy Hanson (11-5) improved to 6-2 in nine road starts this season, despite allowing six runs over six innings.
Craig Kimbrel pitched the ninth for his 30th save, matching the Braves' franchise record for saves by a rookie.
Rockies starter Jhoulys Chacin didn't factor in the decision, allowing five runs over 4 2/3 innings to remain winless since June 15.
Atlanta's Dan Uggla, who is riding a 12-game hitting streak, sat out with a sore calf. Conrad took his spot in the lineup.
The Braves pulled within four games of NL East leader Philadelphia, which was idle Thursday.
