Troy Tulowitzki, Dexter Fowler and Seth Smith drove in three runs apiece, and Ubaldo Jimenez posted his third straight victory as the Colorado Rockies halted a four-game losing streak with a 12-3 rout of the visiting Atlanta Braves on Tuesday night.
Carlos Gonzalez added two RBIs for Colorado, which ripped eight of its 14 hits for extra bases.
Tulowitzki began the onslaught in the first inning with a three-run homer and Gonzalez belted a two-run shot in the second for a 5-0 lead against Brandon Beachy (3-2), who lost for the first time in 11 starts.
Smith, who had an RBI double in the third, plated a run in the sixth with a triple. After a pair of walks, Fowler cleared the bases with another triple, and Smith added a sacrifice fly an inning later.
Jimenez (6-8) tossed 6 2/3 strong innings and matched a season high with nine strikeouts. He allowed a pair of solo homers to Dan Uggla. It was the 56th career victory for Jimenez, which moved him past Jeff Francis into third on the franchise list.
Uggla extended his hitting streak to 11 games and Martin Prado recorded his 500th career hit for Atlanta, which fell to 5-1 against Colorado this season.
