Alex Rios homered and drove in four runs as the visiting Chicago White Sox pulled away for a 6-2 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday night.
The White Sox took the lead on Paul Konerko's solo home run in the sixth inning against Zach Duke (1-2) before Rios, who entered the night batting .204 with 15 RBIs, delivered the final blow with a three-run shot to left off Micah Owings in the eighth. Rios drove in Chicago's first run on a groundout in the second inning.
John Danks (3-8) won his third consecutive start. He allowed one earned run, seven hits and struck out seven in seven innings.
Duke allowed three runs, seven hits, walked one and struck out two in 5 1/3 innings.
Konerko's RBI single in the third put the White Sox ahead 2-0 before the Diamondbacks tied it in the fourth on a passed ball and a Justin Upton sacrifice fly.
