Brent Morel's two-run single in the top of the 12th inning lifted the Chicago White Sox to a 10-7 comeback win at Kansas City on Wednesday afternoon.
Carlos Quentin led off with a double and moved to second on a bunt single by Alexei Ramirez. After Sean O'Sullivan (0-1) intentionally walked A.J. Alex Rios and Paul Konerko each singled home a run before Quentin put the White Sox in front for the first time all day with a two-run double. Kansas City evened it up in the bottom of the inning when Kila Ka'aihue doubled to score pinch runner Jarrod Dyson.
The Royals (4-2) jumped out to a 5-0 lead with a pair of runs in the first inning and three more in the fourth against Mark Buehrle, The White Sox finally got on the board in the top of the seventh on a two-out solo homer by Ramon Castro and an RBI double by Pierre.
