Matt Joyce double twice and scored two runs for the Rays, who have won four in a row to move into first place in the American League East.

Tampa Bay got to Brad Bergesen (0-4) in the fourth, pushing a run across on Longoria’s single and grabbing two more when Upton followed Joyce’s double with a two-run single up the middle.

Upton did the same thing in the fifth, this time pushing Joyce and Ben Zobrist across with a single back through the box.

Wade Davis (4-2) got the start for the Rays and lasted five innings, surrendering three runs and four hits while walking five to pick up the win.

Rob Delany pitched a scoreless inning and Joel Peralta went 1 2/3 before handing it off to Kyle Farnsworth for the four-out save - his seventh.

Derrek Lee hit his fourth homer and Matt Wieters doubled in a pair of runs for Baltimore.
