Atlanta second baseman Brooks Conrad committed his third error of the game with two outs in the ninth inning, allowing Freddy Sanchez to score the go-ahead run as the San Francisco Giants defeated the host Braves 3-2 on Sunday in Game 3 of the National League Division Series.

San Francisco tied the score with two outs in the ninth on Aubrey Huff’s single. Buster Posey followed with a grounder that went right through Conrad’s legs as Sanchez scored easily from second base.

Giants closer Brian Wilson gave up a two-out single in the ninth before notching the save and giving San Francisco a 2-1 lead in the best-of-5 series. Game 4 is Monday in Atlanta.

Eric Hinske provided the Braves with a 2-1 lead with a dramatic two-run, pinch-hit homer off Giants reliever Sergio Romo (1-0) in the eighth.

Conrad also made a second-inning error that gave San Francisco its first run, dropping Cody Ross’ short pop-up down the right-field line. Mike Fontenot, who had tripled, scored on the play.

Craig Kimbrel (0-1), the first of four Atlanta pitchers in the ninth, took the loss. Braves closer Billy Wagner was taken off the roster after suffering an injury in Friday night’s game.

Giants starter Jonathan Sanchez struck out 11 and allowed just two hits and one run in 7 1/3 innings. Atlanta starter Tim Hudson allowed an unearned run and four hits in seven innings.

Sanchez pitched 5 1/3 no-hit innings until Hudson singled to right field.
