Washington’s other third-inning runs scored on Adam Kennedy’s single and Josh Willingham’s double. Adam Dunn hit a fifth-inning sacrifice fly to account for the other run against Lincecum.
The Giants got on the board on Juan Uribe’s fifth-inning homer. Pablo Sandoval had an RBI double the following inning.
Willingham singled in another run in the seventh for the Nationals.
